Job Title: Screen, Digital Printing and Embroidery Tech

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Screen Printing and Embroidery Technician to join our team. This role involves creating high-quality prints and embroidery designs on various apparel and products, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in screen printing, embroidery, and operating related machinery, as well as a strong eye for detail. We run multi-head embroidery machines, hand and automated silk screening equipment,  the latest digital printing equipment, laser etching, conveyer dryers, and more. We will invest considerable time and effort to teach the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Screen Printing:

   • Prepare and set up screens for each print job, ensuring designs are aligned and colors are correctly matched.
   • Mix inks to achieve precise color matches and maintain quality throughout each production run.
   • Operate screen printing equipment, monitoring speed, pressure, and alignment to produce high-quality prints.
   • Conduct quality control checks to ensure all items meet company standards for quality and accuracy.

2. Embroidery:

   • Program embroidery machines to accurately follow designs and set parameters like thread color, stitch type, and pattern.
   • Monitor machine operations, adjusting as needed to maintain consistency and prevent thread breakage.
   • Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines and replace needles, bobbins, and other components as necessary.
   • Conduct final inspections on embroidered items to ensure designs are accurate and professionally finished.

3. Inventory Receiving, Folding, Packaging

   • Accurately recieve incoming deliveries
   • Fold, inventory, and package completed jobs
   • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including screens, inks, threads, and other materials.

4. Quality Assurance:

   • Ensure each order meets or exceeds customer expectations by adhering to specifications, color requirements, and deadlines.
   • Address any design or production issues that may arise, making adjustments as needed to meet quality standards.
   • Communicate effectively with team members and management to coordinate orders, timelines, and special requests.

5. Maintenance and Safety:

   • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on machines to ensure safe and efficient operations.
   • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper handling of inks, chemicals, and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in screen printing and/or embroidery is preferred.
• Knowledge of screen printing presses, embroidery machines, and other related equipment.
• Familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW) and embroidery digitizing software.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of color and design.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
